Republicans count cost of spending

Tim Null has voted Republican in every election since Richard Nixon was president and he ran for office for the party in his home state of Kansas three years ago.

Last January, however, he changed his affiliation on the state electoral register to independent. “I’m so frustrated with Republicans saying one thing and doing another,” he said.
