UK to limit Bulgarian and Romanian migrants

John Reid, UK home secretary, on Tuesday said food processing and agriculture would be the only sectors initially opened to “less skilled’’ nationals from Bulgaria and Romania.

The measures, which are subject to cabinet approval, are intended to curb immigration from the two countries after they join the European Union in January.
