Independent directors – money well spent

Asset managers with independent directors on their fund boards have been urged to maintain such structures, despite some of the high costs involved.

“It is about best practice, which is not always the cheapest option,” says Jamie Broderick, head of Europe at JPMorgan Asset Management.
