Sony warning knocks Tokyo shares

Sony shares plunged to an 13-year low, dragging Japanese stocks down their lowest levels in more than five years after the electronics maker slashed its profit forecast.

The rest of Asia slid to end yet another volatile week, as evidence that the global economy is sliding into recession grows amid weakening economic data and earnings.
