Schott Solar resurrects €656m IPO

Schott Solar yesterday resurrected a plan to take the solar technology company public, amid German equity markets unnerved by new fears about the US financial crisis and fresh doubts about the industry's profitability.

Solar, which makes both photovoltaic and solar-thermic technology, said it would this week seek up to €656.6m in Germany's biggest IPO this year.
