World leader fights to stay ahead of innovative rivals

Nokia has finessed its strategy for winning out in the battle over which companies get a big chunk of revenue from the rising popularity of the mobile internet.

Analysts said Nokia, the world's largest handset maker, was responding to growing competition in the mobile software industry by taking control of Symbian.
