Foreign investment rises 11%

The number of new foreign investments in the UK grew more than a quarter last year in spite of the onset of global recession.

Companies from 53 countries, more than ever before in a single year, chose to invest in Britain, maintaining its position as Europe’s top inward investment destination, second only to the US globally.
