Take-off: Rohit Jaggi aboard

The view through the windshield and side windows of my little plane is filled with other light aircraft, diving and weaving close enough to see the determination on the faces of the pilots inside them. Up ahead, more aircraft come into view as they bank to the left, turning tightly above a barely visible orange dot on the green French farmland just 500ft below.
