Workers protest on gas cuts to Sofia plant

Police clashed in central Sofia on Friday with workers protesting against the cut-off of gas supplies to Kremikovtzi, the bankrupt Bulgarian steel producer, following the collapse of negotiations with a potential foreign investor.

Two protestors were arrested after jumping barricades around the economy ministry, police said.
