COMPANIES TT Electronics will concentrate on cross-selling high-end electronic components and reducing its exposure to the highly cyclical automotive sector, the group’s chief executive has said.
Geraint Anderson drew his conclusions following a strategic review he arranged shortly after he joined TT Electronics from Cisco Systems last August. The group said it would further reduce its cost base in 2009 by cutting another 700 jobs, on top of the 595 it shed last year.
