Russia and China cautioned on Wednesday that the impact of the financial crisis was far from over and that many countries were continuing to suffer its effects.

Both President Hu Jintao of China and Russia’s President Dmitry Medvedev began speeches to the annual United Nations General Assembly by addressing the financial crisis.
