How will sport cope with stagnating revenue streams?

Sport is big business. A forecast last year from PwC suggested the global sports market would exceed $100bn by 2008.

In many cases, the escalating value of broadcasting rights has provided an exceptional engine for growth. Now, with rare exceptions, that growth has slowed. So, is sport going to have to learn to live with stagnating revenue streams or can it find alternatives to keep income forging ahead?
