ABN Amro on Friday sought clarification from the court that froze the sale of its US bank LaSalle to the Bank of America in the latest saga surrounding the sale of the Dutch lender.

ABN wants the court to tell it if its ruling on Thursday bars the Dutch bank from accepting any offer for LaSalle or requires it to seek shareholder approval once it receives an offer for its US subsidiary.
