Stanley and Beatrice Tollman yesterday lost another round in their fight against extradition to the US over tax fraud charges when a judge ruled that their case should not be thrown out for "abuse of process".

The hoteliers are the latest in a series of business figures to be accused of white- collar crimes in the US and then sought by American authorities under the controversial fast-track extradition procedures.
