Aurora Fashions, the retail group that owns Karen Millen, Coast, Warehouse and Oasis, reported an “encouraging” start to its year, particularly in overseas markets.

“Trade in France in the last month has been spectacular,” said Derek Lovelock, executive chairman. “Germany is also beginning to look strong and we are just beginning to see a bounce in the States. But it is softer in the UK.”
