Concern over exposure to US lawsuits

The Financial Times recently reported on a service offered by Magenta One to track securities class action lawsuits for UK-based fund managers. This service apparently facilitates participation in recoveries generated by US securities class action litigation.

In the US, however, fund managers and other market professionals are more concerned about their exposure as potential defendants in securities class action litigation. Should UK-based fund managers, companies, board members and others be similarly concerned?
