In spite of often fierce criticism, I do believe that government has its heart in the right place when trying to support entrepreneurs. My only issue is how it chooses to go about it.

Current government focus is on improving the assistance it provides in funding businesses – not only twisting the arms of the banks to be more flexible in their lending, but also its laudable, if sometimes misunderstood, Enterprise Finance Guarantee (EFG) scheme.
