Slowdown brings relief to South Africa’s Eskom

With the exception of pawnbrokers and bailiffs, few companies have had their spirits lifted by the onset of global recession.

Yet for Eskom, the South African power utility that came to the brink of collapse a year ago, worldwide financial meltdown has brought some blessed relief.
