Banking sector: Like moths to the flame of volatility

Spread betting firms have seen much more interest in financial spread betting over the past year, with one of the most popular bets being banks’ share prices.

In part, this is due to the huge volatility in UK banks. With government takeovers, bankruptcies, and fears over exposure to risky loans, the banking sector has been one of the most volatile.
