Boost for UK’s industrial biotech

Future development of industrial biotechnology in the UK received a boost on Thursday with news of a £12m ($20m) investment at Wilton on Teesside.

The money from the Department for Business Innovation & Skills will enhance facilities at the Centre for Process Innovation, offering open access demonstrator facilities where companies can identify and deliver new processes, materials and products.
