Supermarkets to expand flu jab service

Supermarkets and pharmacies across the UK are expanding their in-store flu vaccination programmes – and in some cases cutting the cost to customers – in a sign of the growing market for private health services administered through retailers.

This autumn, Asda is offering flu jabs in 152 of its stores. The retailer withdrew from the flu jab market last year, having run a vaccination programme for the previous five years.
