France on Wednesday said it would reintroduce European Union border controls following last week’s terrorist attacks in London.

Speaking on the sidelines of an interior ministers’ meeting in Brussels, Nicolas Sarkozy, French interior minister, said: “If we don’t reinforce border controls when around 50 people die in London, I don’t know when I would do it.”
