Bush asks countries to support G20 plan

George W. Bush will use his last big international event as US president this weekend to push for broader support of the G20 response to the global economic crisis.

Mr Bush, in Peru for the Asia Pacific Economic Co-operation summit, will urge the 12 Apec economies who do not belong to the G20 to sign on to financial market regulatory reform and to stimulate domestic demand and shore up global growth.
