Mosley confidence vote fails to resolve F1 crisis

Formula One racing faces a period of crisis after Max Mosley, president of motor sport's governing body, won a vote of confidence yesterday despite widespread calls for his resignation following his part in an orgy with prostitutes.

The Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) voted by 103 votes to 55 at an extraordinary general meeting in Paris to allow the president to keep his job.
