Mandelson in demand if Labour ousted

Lord Mandelson will face invitations to earn a small fortune in the private sector if Labour loses the general election, according to top headhunters.

The first secretary would be deluged with offers should he signal his intention to take up directorships, given his growing reputation as a consummate operator.
