Top-level call for radical change in Africa aid

Tony Blair, prime minister, launched a report on Friday presented by the UK-sponsored Commission for Africa calling for a “radical change in the way donors behave and deliver assistance” to African countries.

Mr Blair, who set up the commission a year ago, launched the report in London, with presentations also being staged in Addis Ababa, seat of the African Union, and New York.
