Shanda Games prices IPO at top of range

Shanda Games, China’s leading online gaming company, priced its initial public offering in the US at the top of the range late Thursday despite increasing investor jitters over a potential IPO bubble.

Shanda raised $1.044bn in the deal that was priced at $12.50 per American Depository Share, according to people familiar with the deal, making it the largest US IPO this year so far and the largest-ever US-only IPO out of China.
