Companies told to expect overhaul in tax regime

Businesses should be prepared for "profound" changes in the way they are taxed over the long term, according to the first director of the newly created Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation.

Michael Devereux, a professor of economics at University of Warwick, has been appointed to lead the centre, founded by the Hundred Group of large listed companies and Oxford University to improve the debate over business tax policy.
