Joseph Estrada, the ousted Philippine president and former action film hero, is relaunching his acting career just as opinion polls show him to be the second most popular potential candidate for next year’s presidential election.

Mr Estrada, ousted as president in 2001 amid huge protests over corruption allegations, is set to appear in his first movie for 20 years.
