Request to revoke Stanford’s bail order

US federal prosecutors on Monday filed papers opposing any move to grant Sir Allen Stanford freedom on bail pending his trial for wide-ranging fraud charges, saying the fallen financier presented a serious flight risk.

Sir Allen was indicted earlier this month on 21 counts including bribery, securities fraud and obstruction of justice; he has pleaded not guilty to all charges and has denied all the allegations made against him.
