Eurozone inflation tumbles to 3.2%

Eurozone inflation is falling fast while unemployment across the 15-country region may start rising soon, official figures indicated on Friday.

Annual inflation dropped from 3.6 per cent in September to 3.2 per cent in October, according to a first estimate by Eurostat, the European Union’s statistical office. That extended the fall from the record 4 per cent rate reported in July.
