Beeston to leave Serco after 25 years

Kevin Beeston is to step down from his position as chairman of Serco after 25 years at the support services group.

The 47-year-old, who is a former finance director, chief executive and executive chairman of the company, has been with Serco throughout its transition from private electronics company to FTSE 100 support services conglomerate. He said he was departing amicably.
