Lawyers indicate Black will not take stand

Conrad Black has never been shy about proclaiming his innocence. Until now, that is.

Defence attorneys for the British peer and former chairman and chief executive of Hollinger International appeared to end months of speculation this week about whether the famously verbose former executive would testify in his own defence, indicating that they would not call Lord Black to the stand.
