The factors that sealed the fate of Isoft

As Isoft awaits its exit from the London market on Friday, John Weston recalls the nadir of his tenure as acting chief executive of a company once point worth more than £1bn – a low point that came in July last year.

Just six weeks into the job, he learned that Deloitte, newly appointed as auditors to the UK healthcare software group, had discovered what appeared to be accounting irregularities in previous years’ figures.
