Haier eyes overseas markets with US partner

Haier, the world’s fourth-largest white-goods maker, is launching a forceful push into the overseas PC market.

In an alliance with NComputing, a California-based provider of virtual desktop technology, China’s Haier plans to target large-scale government auctions in up to 20 developing countries with cut-price computing solutions, the two companies said.
