Zoellick says bank must pull together

The first priority for the next president of the World Bank is to smooth ruffled feathers among the staff after the turbulent exit of Paul Wolfowitz, according to the leading contender to replace him.

Robert Zoellick, the former US trade representative and deputy secretary of state, said yesterday that the bank needed to pull together and focus on delivering real results on the ground.
