Alstom chief defends business practices

Business practices at Alstom are above board, the group’s chief executive said on Wednesday as he tried to highlight a strong performance during the past 12 months.

The turbine to trains group was co-operating with Swiss and French authorities investigating suspected bribery to win foreign contracts in South America and Asia between 1995 and 2003.
