Looks familiar

There's an election looming, and once again Britain's voters are going to be asked to choose which politicians we trust most to control our healthcare system, schools and national security.

And once again we're being tempted to make decisions partly motivated by fear of "others" - people who have a different ethic background, for example. At a time like this, it's interesting to ask what science can tell us about the way we judge trustworthiness.
