Business welcomes green targets

Business saw nothing to frighten the horses in Gordon Brown’s “mainly political” speech, and spotted some welcome signals of future policy direction, particularly on climate change.

The prime minister’s commitment to ensure green technologies were the “source of British jobs in British businesses” was applauded by industry on Monday night.
