SFO accesses Swiss files in BAE probe

British anti-corruption investigators have won access to Swiss bank files in an expanding probe into alleged bribery by BAE Systems in European arms deals.

Switzerland could hand the Serious Fraud Office confidential information relating to suspected corruption in the abortive £1.1bn ($1.64bn) 2001 sale of fighter aircraft to the Czech Republic, the Swiss Federal Criminal Court said on Monday.
