A. Lange and Söhne “Luminous”
Ultra high-end German maker A. Lange and Söhne has unveiled a new version of its Zeitwerk called the Luminous. The rotating disc that carries the digital jumping hours read-out is covered by a smoked sapphire crystal that allows the luminous material coating the numbers to absorb light, so “recharging” them to ensure they glow in the dark. €69,000 ($95,107).
