I recently returned from the longest summer vacation of my adult life, and although I enjoyed the experience, I wound up feeling that something was missing.
I have no regrets about what we did. My family and I headed back to the US to relax at the beach and see friends and relatives, and we were met by sunny skies and welcoming smiles. Our kids discovered miniature golf and avoided serious injury.
