Phorm looks abroad as UK prospects dim

Phorm said it would look to accelerate expansion abroad after none of the UK broadband providers it signed agreements with 18 months ago appeared close to deploying its targeted advertising technology.

Shares in Phorm fell more than 40 per cent on Monday after BT Group said it had no “immediate plans” to adopt its service, branded Webwise.
