Is the idea that companies should today be looking at business locations in France foolhardy, or bold?

Though French gross domestic product ticked up marginally in the third quarter, few economists believe France will be spared the recession that is already deepening in much of the developed world. The number of jobless surged by 46,900 in October, and the jobless rate, now 7.2 per cent, is expected to reach 8 per cent by the year end.
