Yell to unveil equity raising of at least £600m

Yell, the publisher of the UK’s Yellow Pages, is expected to announce the details of a successful equity raising that has surpassed initial targets of £500m.

It is understood that the directories company, whose top shareholders hold 60 per cent of the company’s stock, has received commitments of over £600m. The fundraising will take the form of a placing and open offer.
