Terra Firma is in talks with Elio Leoni Sceti, head of Reckitt Benckiser’s business in Europe, to run EMI’s struggling recorded music division, in the latest sign that Guy Hands’ private equity group is looking outside the music industry for answers to its woes.
Mr Sceti, who oversees brands such as Airwick, Finish and Veet at the UK household goods maker, is said by people familiar with the recruitment process to be one of a half-dozen potential candidates to whom Terra Firma is talking.
