Fears of rough ride for buy-to-let newcomers

For more than a decade, the buy-to-let market has been seen as an easy way to make money. But with returns diminishing and lenders relaxing their terms there is mounting concern that entrants to the market may be in for a rougher ride.

“There is a tail end of investors coming in; people who may not have enough money to be doing this,” says Stuart Law, managing director of Assetz, a property investment group.
