Euphoria yields to sober reflection

The eurozone could return to growth this quarter but how fast and how sustainable will the recovery be?

The message in Thursday’s data seems to be: export-led growth appears to be coming back but it will be held in check for some time by unemployment, which is still rising, banks, which are still reticent about lending, and the withdrawal of fiscal stimulus packages, as governments seek to rein in budget deficits.
