Syria-Lebanon tensions rise

Tensions between Lebanon and Syria rose sharply yesterday in the wake of bomb attacks in both countries.

Saad Hariri, leader of the anti-Syrian parliamentary majority in Beirut, accused Damascus of posing "a clear and direct threat" to his country's sovereignty.
