ABC to reformat more dramas for abroad

Walt Disney’s ABC television network is stepping up the number of programmes it produces and “reformats” for other countries in order to tap into growing international demand for regional content.

The company has started pre-production on a Colombian version of Grey’s Anatomy, a ratings winner in the US, with the aim of starting production by the end of April.
